Background:
Luigi SCIBILE joined CERN in 1997. He has been group leader for about 10 years in the field of infrastructures and site management. He has worked on controls and safety instrumented systems. He has worked on controls and safety instrumented systems. Between 2008 and 2010 he worked at ITER on special leave from CERN. He was previously a control and instrumentation engineer with the Jet Joint Undertaking (JET) and a EURATOM Fellow at JET working on his PhD with the University of Oxford.
He is author and co-autor of a series of international papers and tecnical reports in control, automation, safety systems and project management (List of publications).
